Our mission fits in one sentence: We strengthen the democratic public sphere.

Three goals

1. Strengthen democracy — through civic education, independent analysis, and the protection of open spaces for debate.
2. Foster responsibility — in institutions and individuals alike, from the municipality to the European level.
3. Enable participation — with formats that truly reach people: citizens' dialogues, workshops, open research.

Our measure

We do not measure our work by attention, but by effect: did a dialogue take place that would not have happened otherwise? Has a decision become better informed, a process more open?
